Team Lima had a great time at Watkins Glen International with friends and families. We started off the weekend with a Welcoming Reception at the Radisson in Corning, NY. The Radisson was our home base for the weekend where we enjoyed good food, drink, music and even some competitive corn hole on the patio.
Saturday, after breakfast, we raced off to Watkins Glen International where Team Lima ran the 1969 Corvette (#33) in The Hilliard United States Vintage Grand Prix (one of the largest vintage racing events in the country). Bob Lima placed 3rd with this car.
Saturday night, we had dinner reservations at Tony R’s, only a short walk from the hotel down Market Street. Happy Hour was awesome and dinner was incredible! We even celebrated two birthdays and an anniversary!
Sunday, we were back at the track to cheer on Team Lima in The Trans-Am Championship Series. For this race, the team ran the 2018 Chevy Camaro (#63).
